Society demands good manners and behaviour. As we live in society and it is very important to.behave with others in good manners.  It is taught from the childhood by parents to become a good human being. In order to become a good human being good manners are foremost important. We learn these habits from society, colleagues , teachers and relatives. 

Every one wants to be treated nicely and we cant become a good human being without good manners. We gain respect by behaving nicely.
